A New Career
Long vacations are over for me. I just started a new chapter in my career last Monday. I always thought I’m already retired! Well, I find this a job as another personal challenge for me. I think this would define what I’m really capable of accomplishing. It’s also a new opportunity for me to explore, meeting new faces, build relationships with my co-workers, and most of all, travel in US.
I felt unusual during my first day. I’m not used to wearing long sleeves, slacks, black socks and leather shoes. I need to buy more clothes this weekend. My closet is full of jeans, t-shirts and polo shirts, so i really need to buy more formal clothes. My office is located in Makati, so i’m even adjusting on how to arrive at work on time. Maybe, it’s time to buy a car. Fortunately, my co-employees welcomed me in their office. I didn’t have any problems working with my previous co-workers (except bosses), so i don’t see any problem working with them.
Currently, i’m analyzing the existing operations and planning our goals for the next year. Hopefully, we’ll meet our goals. Wish me luck!

@joni - it’s not actually a dress code policy, i just felt it is appropriate to wear formal clothes for my position.
